I picked up this Titleist Tour Model putter hoping for that classic Napa feel, and it delivers. The carbon steel head gives a soft, responsive touch on impact. At 34 inches, the length feels comfortable for my stance, and the heel shafting encourages a slight arc in my stroke. The steel shaft provides solid feedback. However, the blade shape is less forgiving than a mallet, so off-center hits lose some distance control. Also, as a tour-grade club, there's no alignment aid, which takes some getting used to. For someone who appreciates traditional design, this putter is a joy. Just be prepared to practice with it.
